Head Instructor
José Mata is a 2nd degree BJJ black belt under Ricardo Da Silva, Nova Forca’s UK head instructor. Jose has trained with Ricardo since he was a purple belt on the mats learning all of his BJJ from Ricardo at the Nova Forca gym. Jose is also a Judo Black belt and Traditional Ju-Jitsu Black belt.
José Jiujitsu competitions career 2017 Brown Belt European Masters heavyweight champion, 2nd in the 2019 Black Belt Masters World Pro.
Obtaining gold medals at different local and UK tournaments.
José also holds a professional MMA record of 7 -4.
Jose’s ability to be relaxed and friendly, along with his excellent technical skills and professional fighting experience, makes him a very effective instructor..

Rocian Gracie Jr. Master, 6th degree black belt. Earning his black belt with his uncle, Master Carlson Gracie.
Fabio Gomes
5th-degree black belt. He was awarded his black belt by Master Rocian Gracie Jr. And is a founding member of Nova Force Jiu-Jitsu.
Ricardo Da Silva
4th-degree black belt. Earning his black belt by Fabio Gomes. Ricardo is the head instructor for Nova Forca UK.
